How to do it

    On your phone or tablet, choose Scan paper with your camera and take a photo of the first page.

  2. 2

    Add more pages with Scan a page with the camera, under Document tools. Use Crop pages to trim away the table around the paper.

  3. 3

    Download the PDF. Recognize text (OCR) makes it searchable first, if you want that.

Good to know

  • The photos are turned into a PDF on your device and are not uploaded.
  • The camera button appears on phones and tablets. On a computer, add photos you already have with Choose files.
  • Pages are not straightened or brightened automatically, so photograph the paper from directly above in good light.
