How to do it

    Open your PDF.

    Under Document tools, choose Download with a password, and type the password twice.

  3. 3

    The locked PDF downloads. It uses AES-256 encryption.

Good to know

  • Keep the password safe. If it's lost, the file can't be opened and nobody can recover it.
  • To open a PDF that already has a password, just open it here and enter the password when asked.
