How to do it

    Open the scanned PDF, or photos of the pages.

    Under Document tools, choose Recognize text (OCR), and pick the document's language.

  3. 3

    Search the text, click a line to change it, and download a PDF whose text can be selected.

Good to know

  • Recognition runs on your device and takes a few seconds per page.
  • It works best on clean, printed text. Handwriting and poor scans give poor results.
  • Languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian.
