How to do it

    Open your PDF.

    Choose the Redact tool and drag a box over everything that must go.

  3. 3

    Download. Each redacted page is rebuilt as a picture so the hidden content no longer exists in the file.

Good to know

  • Text on a redacted page can no longer be selected or searched, and form fields in the document are flattened.
  • The Whiteout tool is different: it only covers content, which stays in the file.
